Online Christmas Games

Published by Jennifer

According to a press release from Comscore, the number of online gamers have reached a total of 217 Million, (JULY 10, 2007, http://www.comscore.com/press/release.asp?press=1521). If you are unsure who Comscore is, they are actually one of the leading companies that focuses on digital measuring. This statistic is huge and it is continually growing each year.

That is probably why there is no surprise in the number of online Christmas games that are surfacing on the internet each year. There are games for adults, games for children and games for everyone in between and people are enjoying the Christmas games as much as they enjoy any other online game available.

Although, I would love to talk about online Christmas gaming in a whole, I would actually like to focus on the online games that are provided by various postal services. It seems that mail and Christmas goes hand in hand and many national postal services are now offering online Christmas games for children that are getting ready to send Christmas lists to Santa.

One such postal service that is offering online Christmas games is Canada Post. They have a wonderful Christmas site called, Santa’s Corner which offers a wide range of activities for families and children.

Visitors to the site can write letters to Santa and they can also watch videos and listen to a Santacast. They can also visit the Holiday Fun and Games section that offers tasty recipes and some great crafts that you can make with your children.
But as great as all those things are, what we are really interested in are the online Christmas games. If you were looking at quantity when it comes to online Christmas games, then this is probably not the site for you since it only offers six games and if you are looking for high graphics and tons of quality, then again, this probably isn’t the right site.

What the site has to offer for online Christmas games are quick games that don’t take a lot of computer to play. You don’t need lots of memory or top of the line graphic cards. They are not filled with a lot of the extras but they are easy to use and children as young as four can navigate through most of the online games offered at Santa’s corner.

They are also pretty entertaining even for a few adults, who will remain nameless, that tried the games and spent a little too much time playing them. In addition, they can be loaded quickly so your little gamer won’t have to wait for too long.

If you are looking for a great little site with some wonderful online Christmas games for your children or even for a quick minute of your own time, then I would strongly recommend the Canada Post site or any site that is offered by a national postal service.
