Christmas Trivia Games
If you look at a list of Christmas games, there are hundreds of them. Some have seen a lot of use; some have only seen a few uses and others have faded away into the mists of Christmases past. One type of Christmas game that has withstood the test of time is Christmas Trivia games.
There are hundreds of different trivia games out there and it seems like the trivia world is constantly expanding. There is a trivia for everything from favorite sitcoms to special holiday meanings and they are often a hit at Christmas parties and get together. The reason for this is probably because you don’t really need a lot of extra supplies to play a trivia game and there isn’t a lot of mess involved.
Instead, people gather around and answer trivia questions and good conversation in between questions.
When it comes to the trivia game, you can make your own or you can use games that are already created. You can even download the games off the internet and have minimum expense when it comes to your supplies for the game.
Of course, the only problem is in deciding on the trivia game that you want to enjoy. Before you select a Christmas trivia game, you should really think about your guest list. If you are having a get together where everyone not only celebrates Christmas but is also religious or have no problem playing religious trivia games, then you might make the trivia geared towards “biblical trivia” or more specifically how it pertains to Christmas.
On an interesting note, there is a lot of trivia associated with the twelve days of Christmas and the meaning behind each line in the song.
If you find that many of your guests would prefer to have regular trivia, you could have a trivia game about holiday television shows. I’m not 100% sure but I think almost every sitcom out there has an episode that is done around the holidays. You can gear your questions and answers to popular sitcoms like Friends or Seinfeld or All in the Family.
You could also have a trivia game on Christmas classics like “frosty the snowman,” or “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The only point that should be stressed is your guests comfort level. Some people who do not celebrate Christmas will still attend a friend’s holiday party so it is important to make everyone feel comfortable with the trivia that you choose.
After you have decided on what everyone would like, there is nothing left to do except find a game at the store or research a few questions on fun Christmas trivia. Trust me; it won’t take long to have more than enough questions.
